Luclair Vision
Luclair Vision is a \full-stack luxury fashion commerce platform\ I built as a contract project for a Lagos-based fashion brand. The project started with a simple requirement: create a premium online presence where customers could discover and purchase the brand's products. As the requirements became clearer, it became obvious that the business needed much more than a storefront. Customers needed accounts, carts, wishlists, checkout, payments, order history, and delivery tracking. The internal team needed a way to manage products, orders, content, FAQs, settings, and other parts of the business without depending on a developer for every change. I brought these requirements together into one application, connecting the customer experience with the operational systems behind it. The result is a \connected commerce platform\ covering the journey from product discovery and checkout to payment confirmation, fulfillment, order tracking, and internal administration.
Problem and context
More than a fashion website The client did not simply need a website to display clothing. They needed a digital system that could support the actual day-to-day operation of the business. Customers needed to discover products, browse collections, manage carts and wishlists, create accounts, complete payments, receive order information, and track deliveries. At the same time, the internal team needed control over products, orders, FAQs, featured products, lookbook content, settings, and other operational information. The platform also had to communicate with several external services. Payments needed to be verified reliably. Shipping rates and tracking needed to come from a logistics provider. Product imagery needed to remain high quality without making the application unnecessarily heavy. Transactional emails needed to reach customers, while AI functionality needed to remain safely behind the application. So the real challenge was not simply \building the storefront. It was creating a system where these different parts could work together reliably as one customer and business workflow.
Outcome
Luclair Vision was delivered as a \connected commerce system\ rather than a standalone fashion storefront. The platform brings together product discovery, customer accounts, checkout, payment processing, shipping, order tracking, administration, content management, and AI functionality within one application. The client receives both sides of the product: the customer-facing shopping experience and the internal tools required to manage the business behind it. The most important result was connecting these pieces into a coherent workflow — products feed the storefront, checkout creates the transaction, payment updates the order state, shipping provides fulfillment information, and the administration system gives the business visibility and control.
